Ring-A-Day: Hafnium Ring

And so ends the first half-nium of this journey. 182 rings. Had no idea what the project would be like after six months of making a ring every day, but you can look back and see all the daily accomplishments. Thanks for joining me on this journey so far. It’s only half done. Come back tomorrow. We’ll start the second set of 182 rings in the morning. Don’t hesitate to make suggestions.

Note: Hafnium is named after Copenhagen, not half of something.

Ring-A-Day: QR Ring

They’re popping up everywhere. What’s amazing about QR codes is that they can be generated in a variety of arrays and still hold the same information. This QR code is a text variety that simply says RING. I generated five that were similar, but not the same. All of them decoded properly to RING except the HIBC variety that decoded to +RING$. Make your own with the Free Online Barcode Generator.

If you want to decode this or any other barcode image you can use the ZXing Decoder Online.
