Brass Rocket – 6.5 inches

Description

Take a trip to the moon.

This brass rocket is fabricated by building a wood structure, investing it in jeweler’s refractory, and burning it out. The void is then filled by pouring in molten brass. The casting is blackened, and polished to bring out highlights.

Makes a nice imaginative desk sculpture.
