A Pteranodon model that you assemble into a miniature museum specimen. This beautiful steel skeleton from Metal Earth is a great model to learn from. This modern version of the avian skeleton is anatomically correct from the wing spread, and the elongated digits, to the claws, hips, and skull. Model is pictured with a Tinysaur pterodactyl for scale.
Metal Earth Kits assemble into tiny dinosaur skeletons from two 4.5″ x 4.5″ laser cut steel sheets. Assembly generally takes 2-3 hours and the completed models stand roughly 3 inches (7.6cm) tall and 6 inches (15.2cm) long .
These models require a pair of flush cutters and chain nosed pliers. (NOTE: We tried to assemble the models with the wiggle & pry method of removing the parts from the matrix, but ended up bending and breaking some pieces in the process.)
This model does not fit in Tinysaur domes.
