Tried using a simple Paul Rand style grid today. It’s not as festive as the random polka dot ring, but there’s something to stamping a tiny dot as accurately as possible with a 20 oz framing hammer.

Found this brass casting of a face from the 1970s. Added it to a shank and voila, Ring du Jour. Could be a Greek guy, could be an antique charm of Christ’s face. Unfortunately, I don’t know the origin of the original mold.

There’s a reference to the Donner Party somewhere in here, but I just can’t do it. O.K. I can. So, the first person to freeze to death was a well known comedian. As the Donners were eating him someone asked, “does this taste funny to you?”

Ring-A-Day: Large Skull Ring
This skull ring was carved in wax and cast in brass. It’s a size 17 so it is large enough to be used on the thumb like yesterday’s Archer’s Ring. If you have large fingers, this ring will fit you.
