Stamped with a 3 that doesn’t make a great heart icon, but it’s the stamp I have. I’ll look for a curvy 3 or use the W next time.

Tried to hammer this one out with the ball peen then the planishing hammer. Ended up flat as a penny and could have gone thinner. Seems sintering leaves lots of space between particles.

Ring-A-Day: Sandy Ring
Our power is intermittent, so I decided to try hand-engraving a ring with some home-made tools fashioned from broken tungsten carbide drill bits. Not the worst ring ever, but I could sure use a book on the proper technique for engraving. Hint, hint.

Ring-A-Day: Grid Dot Ring
Tried using a simple Paul Rand style grid today. It’s not as festive as the random polka dot ring, but there’s something to stamping a tiny dot as accurately as possible with a 20 oz framing hammer.

Ring-A-Day: Creamsicle Ring
Vulcanized another popsicle stick today after stamping it with my letter stamps. The type and the stick shrank, effectively giving me another font to work with!
