Tried a new brass alloy from the caster called Thai Gold. It comes out pretty nice. It’s hard, too, so it holds a shine. The caster claims that it doesn’t tarnish as fast as regular brass. That’s what Butcher’s Wax is for.

This was molded from a St. George starfish and cast in brass by the lost wax process. It’s called a knobby starfish. The big ones look like someone sculpted them with white chocolate chips.
