More experiments with doming resin. It’s not quite like cutting a lens, but if you get it right, the warp and magnification effect is great. This was a bill fragment that washed up on the beach. I don’t normally cut up my money.

I really wanted to use these millefiori sand dollars from Greg Chase to make glass beads for a ring. Alas, the first one turned into a black blob, and I’m just not that patient. To get the job done, I grabbed some crystal clear doming resin and gave it a whirl. Of course, there’s no flame, but the results are much better than my glass work.
