Ring-A-Day: Foam Aluminum Pinky Ring

Today I pulled out my Milwaukee Sawzall and Inventables foam aluminum. (I hacksawed the first ring with foam aluminum). I got a piece of the small cell stuff. It works well with double-cut mill bastards and 3M unitized wheels for finishing. Other tools are challenged by the material.

I’m going to look into anodizing one, and will also try the large cell sheet. Sizing is tricky too. This started out as a size 11 before it became a pinky ring.

Inventables is offering new customers a $20 voucher to try some of their amazing materials. Send me your email address: info at potus31 dot com with the subject INVENTABLES and I’ll get one to you ASAP.
