Tried to make a bezel in the shape of a letter today. There are so many bubbles that it looks like I boiled the acrylic. At least today the inner part separated, so I have a Letter A ring instead. I’ll get this right yet.

Tried to laser cut a flower bezel but ended up fusing the acrylic together. The bubbly edge effect isn’t terrible, but not what I was aiming to achieve. Will try again with different settings. Stay tuned.

Our subway turnstiles often still say NO TOKENS, even though they have no token slots. Yesterday, we checked Hopstop for our trip out to Tortilleria Nixtamal in Queens and got a surprise stat: CO2 Saved: 3.21lbs. I love not having a car, and being able to read in transit. What I never connected before is that for every gallon of gas you burn, you blow out 20 pounds of CO2 from your tail pipe. Pretty surprising.
